23-year-old Chelsea winger was actually in attendance at an Arsenal game. The Gunners were facing Shakhtar Donetsk at the Emirates in the UCL matchday 3. The Blues have a long and outstanding rivalry with their neighbors. The two clubs are constantly contesting to be the best club in London. Spotting your own player at your rival’s game is never going to go down well. But the fans seem to have forgotten one major detail. Mykhailo Mudryk was actually there to support his former team. He was a Shakhtar player before joining the Blues in 2023. Although he has not been able to live up to his billing in London so far.
Fans troll one of their own
Fans were not at all in the mood for being patient with Mykhailo Mudryk. In fact, as per metro, they would even suggest that he should ‘stay there’. They are actually so over with him that they are ready to see him play for a rival club. In fact many believe that Mikel Arteta could likely get the best out of him. We have seen him do the same with Kai Havertz before. There are talks of the 23-year-old leaving the club in January. A loan deal seems more than likely now.
Mykhailo Mudryk declining
The 23-year-old winger was on the verge of becoming a star man in 2023. He was playing exceptionally well. But his time at Chelsea clearly says otherwise. He has managed to secure 66 appearances for the club. Although he has scored only 7 times. Also, Mykhailo Mudryk is very quick with the ball. But he often loses possession. At the same time, he is not the best of finishers either. He can play as a good ball carrier and help his team on the counter. Also, he could help a lot more in pressing up-front. But he will have to improve his dribbling and control on the ball.
