This week Indian javelin star Neeraj Chopra is back for training. After sending shock waves around the world by clinging the Gold Medal in Tokyo. Neeraj posted in his Instagram account, “same hunger and desire as before“.
Neeraj Chopra is the first individual to win a gold in Olympics in track and field event. The Tokyo Olympic has been India’s best Olympic in the medal tally. Neeraj ended his season early after his triumph in August. He mentioned the hectic schedule as a reason for his early break. He was seen enjoying his holidays in Maldives and Dubai.
The 23-year-old is back to training at the national camp in Patiala. Neeraj Chopra could have returned earlier to training but his health issue and his travel commitments have delayed it a bit. The post of his Instagram read after returning as,
“Returned to training this week with the same hunger and desire as before. A #throwback to the beginning of the last Olympic cycle is a good place to start! Thank you to everyone for your messages of support.“

The upcoming season of 2022 will be very important year as both the Asian Games and the Commonwealth Games are to be held. As he will to looking to defend his Title and want to win more medals for his country. Wins in upcoming events also add to his trophy cabinet.
Neeraj won the gold with impressive throws of 87.02 and 87.58 meters in the finals of the Tokyo Olympics. The tally of 7 medals is India’s best ever. The 23-year-old has become a new hero in the sport World of India.
