The world has moved on to the brand new year of 2022 after loads of struggle in the past year. Team India will look forward to another calendar filled with tougher challenges. 2021 was the year of highs and lows – Team India once again failed to win an ICC title. From capturing the citadel of Gabba in January to conquering the alcazar of Centurion, India proved its dominance in Tests.

The next 12 months like every year will be packed with high voltage action. Fans will see Rohit Sharma taking the charge as the full-time skipper of the limited-overs format while Kohli will lead the Test side like before. Unfortunately, Sharma is set to miss the ODI series versus South Africa as he is yet to recover from his hamstring injury. The BCCI announced that KL Rahul will be the stand-in captain for the tour.

3rd T20I – February 20, Trivandrum.
