New Zealand might play in Pakistan next year, extra warmup matches before the Australia tests

New Zealand

New Zealand Cricket Team might travel to Pakistan next year. The Blackcaps were supposed to play in Pakistan during this ongoing series. But they canceled off at the last moment due to security concerns.

The canceled tour of Pakistan might be played before the World Cup as told by NZ Cricket chief executive Martin Sneddon.

“We have acknowledged that under the International Cricket Council future tours program we are obliged to reschedule the Pakistan tour as soon as it is reasonably possible,”

he said.

New Zealand will be playing against Australia next October. Then they will host Bangladesh for two test series and then play an ODI tri-series featuring Australia and South Africa and finally a 3-test home series against England. Additional warmup games have been added before the test matches against Australia.

26-28 v Queensland President’s XI, Brisbane

31- Nov 3 v Queensland, Brisbane
