World cricket is under action once again after the successful t20 world cup 2022. India is going to play against 2 nations – Bangladesh and New Zealand. Indian main players are focusing on the test match against Bangladesh. BCCI has sent another pool of players to New Zealand for the t20s and ODI. Recently Ravi Ashwin picked his playing XI and surprisingly Bhuvneshwar Kumar had no place in it.
Ashwin’s India XI for t20s vs New Zealand
Shubman Gil, Ishan Kishan, Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, Deepak Hooda, Harshal Patel, Mohammed Siraj, Arshdeep Singh, and Yuzvendra Chahal.
He wants Rishabh Pant to open the innings for India. He can play lavish shots and provide a quick start to the team. Shubman Gill will be opening the innings with him. Ishan Kishan can play as a finisher and can give a quick end to the Indian Innings. Harshal Patel has been included in place of Bhuvi. He is also a swing bowler and also provides an extra batting option in the end. Yuzi Chahal will be the spinner. Mohammad Siraj and Arshdeep will be the pacers.
Hardik Pandya is named captain of the team and Rishabh Pant is his deputy.
