“New round of talks between Arsenal and Martin Odegaard’s camp over new deal will take place in the next weeks.

“No rush as all parties want the same, the plan is to continue together and get new deal done this year. Martin, very happy in London.”

Odegaard is also gathering interest from other big clubs as the Daily Mail reported this week that Paris Saint-Germain wants to sign him. The 24-year-old would be a perfect candidate for PSG in the summer transfer window.

The Norwegian has been in exceptional form this season under Arteta’s guidance. He scored 15 goals and provided seven assists in 37 apperances for Arsenal this season.

Odegaard will be a key figure for Arsenal next campaign as they’ll return Champions League after 7 years. He might also wear the captain’s armband as Granit Xhaka will leave the club in the summer.

As current situation stands, Arsenal will do everything to keep Martin Odegaard for next season and beyond. Hence, Gunners might not entertain any proposals from other clubs in the summer transfer window.
