Chelsea set to land their ‘dream forward’ in January

Chelsea have been given a much-needed boost in their attempt to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen. He now comes at a lesser price tag than initially believed. It had been reported that the Nigerian star was valued at a whopping £120m. However, contract issues at Napoli and financial considerations led to his becoming available for less. As per YahooSports, Juventus are also trying to sign the Nigerian forward.

But Chelsea’s chances are threatened as Bayern Munich, who have also declared interest in the player, is stiff competition. That will surely give Chelsea an assured attacking option. Their scoring department is definitely the weak link of the team this season. Now, whether Chelsea will be signing Victor Osimhen or not remains to be seen when January approaches.

Osimhen to Chelsea

Victor Osimhen could end up as Chelsea’s marquee signing in 2024 as the prolific Napoli striker is reportedly getting cheaper following disagreements between his representatives and the Italian club. Chelsea will look to reinforce attacking as they did not enjoy a consistent goal-scorer this season.

And Osimhen, scoring 26 goals in Serie A last season would give speed and power, but Chelsea’s financial under FFP will mess things up. Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are also in the game, so this will be the transfer saga that most certainly will be very competitive.

Ever-glowing Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has been Chelsea’s transfer list for such a long time. Lately, developments are to make him easier to take. Reports further add on that Napoli is now going to accept a reduced transfer after failing for Osimhen’s contract disputes to be resolved and the internalized clash inside, going from that is always uncertain about resolving. Well-documented, Chelsea’s attacking struggles this season have been. Despite spending a fortune in recent transfer windows, the team has lacked a consistent goal scorer.
