Paris Saint-Germain were reportedly told to sell three players by Kylian Mbappe. This was one of the conditions of the renewal of the French forward.
However, the French giants were also keen to move on the players. The players were Maurio Icardi, Ander Herrera, and Julian Draxler.
THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS PUT FORWARD BY MBAPPE FOR SIGNING AN EXTENSION WITH PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN
According to reports, Paris Saint-Germain accepted a request made by Kylian Mbappe. Mbappe signed a new contract with the French giants. However, he signed the contract after getting guarantees. The reports claim that guarantees were related to selling some players. Kylian Mbappe wanted PSG to sell some of the older players. He wanted the club to sign players that are ready to take the club to Champions League glory.
The players were reportedly Ander Herrera, Maurio Icardi, and Julian Draxler. Hence, Paris Saint-Germain made the decision to sell them. However, they could not sell them. Although, they managed to loan out the trio. Ander Herrera was loaned out to Athletic Club. Maurio Icardi was loaned to Galatasaray. Whereas, Julian Draxler was loaned out to Benefica. However, the French giants were unable to sell Neymar. Mbappe also wanted Neymar to move on.
THE PROBLEM OF NEYMAR AND THE FRENCH FORWARD
Many reports claim that all is not well between Kylian Mbappe and Neymar. It also claims that both the players do not talk much with each other in the dressing room. Chelsea were also exploring a move for him. However, nothing came out of the rumors. Hence, Neymar ended up staying at the club. However, Kylian Mbappe has continuously mentioned that the news are all fake.
The reports also claim that the French forward was not happy with the influence of the Brazilian in the dressing room. However, both the players have refused to answer questions about their bad relationships. Although, Paris Saint-Germain manager Galtier has clearly said that he can get the best out of Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappe.
The statement from the manager has ended up being right. Kylian Mbappe is as usual scoring goals for fun. Neymar has also started playing well and is now injury-free. Lionel Messi is also playing like how he used to score for fun at Barcelona. Hence, Paris Saint-Germain are a serious contender to win trophies.
