Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar has congratulated Karim Benzema for winning the Ballon d’Or. The Real Madrid striker won the award for helping the club win the Champions League and La Liga.
Neymar also criticized the committee for giving Vinicius Junior a lower ranking than expected. Although, the PSG star did not even finish in the top 30.

Paris Saint-Germain star has praised Karim Benzema for winning Ballon d’Or. The striker won the award after loads of goals for the La Liga giants. He scored 44 goals and provided 15 assists in 46 appearances in the last season. Hence, his winning the award was totally deserved. However, the Paris Saint-Saint Germain star criticized the committee for one bad decision.
He was not happy with the position of Vinicius Junior in the race for the award. His Brazilian teammate finished 8th in the race for the biggest award. He wrote on Twitter,
“Benzema deserved it, crack!!!! Now for Vini jr to be at 8 it’s not possible … At least in the top three,”.
The Paris Saint-Germain star himself was not nominated in the top 30 list.
THE PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN FORWARD IS IN BRILLIANT FORM
According to reports, the club were open to selling Neymar in the summer transfer window. However, no bids arrived for the Brazilian star. Hence, he stayed at the club. Although, the player is starting to score and assist for Paris Saint-Germain. Neymar’s last season was filled with injury issues. Hence, he was unable to contribute to the team in the last season.
These injuries also saw him getting linked to a move away from PSG. Neymar has 12 goals and nine assists this season. He has got contributions in the 16 matches this season. Hence, he is contributing to the new manager Christophe Galtier. The winger will hope to keep the good form going to fulfill the club’s ambition and his ambitions.
Therefore, the fans of Paris Saint-Germain are finally seeing the best of Mbappe, Messi, and Neymar. The brilliant form of the trio makes them dangerous going forward, It will also help the club compete for the Champions League title this season.
