Paul Merson gives his verdict on the future of Conor Bradley with Liverpool

Liverpool are a club who has given huge chances to his youngsters throughout this season. Players like Jarell Quansah, Harvey Elliott, Bobby Clark and Conor Bradley have featured for Liverpool at times in the squad. However, Paul Merson has shared one concern for Conor Bradley and Liverpool.

Bradley has excelled in recent weeks with some brilliant performances and he capped off his rise with two assists and a goal against Chelsea in midweek. Now, the Reds will be facing Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. This will be the toughest challenge for Bradley till now facing Gabriel Jesus and Martinelli.

Although the youngster has been a real deal, Merson warns the club to be careful in deciding when to bench him. Speaking on Sky’s Soccer Saturday, Paul suggested

“He looks a good player. It’s just getting the right timing of giving him a rest in the team. He’s done so well but it’s so different from League One and now you’re in the Premier League, with the concentration levels. But i’ve loved watching him play. Some of his passing, his intelligence, hes playing like a 26/27 year old. But, another hard game tomorrow against Martinelli. It’s just how long is it going to be when it’s just 45 minutes too much. The games he’s played in, and you’ve got Trent waiting to come in as one of the best in the business so it’s hard.”

Liverpool are well aware of the qualities of Conor Bradley

With Jurgen Klopp having a few months left at Anfield, the youngster will not be burned out or fatigued. The academy graduate is a source of quality and maturity and with other senior members, he will be fine. Though, Arsenal are a different gravy and with Trent Alexander Arnold fit, it seems tough to bench the vice-captain.

Nevertheless, Bradley will be having his contributions at the end with his recent performances impressing everyone.
