Peter Crouch makes a prediction about tonight’s FA Cup winner- Aston Villa or Chelsea

Chelsea

Ahead of Chelsea vs. Aston Villa’s cup match tonight, Peter Crouch has predicted the score.

On Friday night, Chelsea will play Aston Villa, a league rival, in the FA Cup’s fourth round.

This season, the Blues have performed well in domestic cup competitions, earning a berth in the Carabao Cup final earlier this week. They will play their old rivals Liverpool at Wembley Stadium in the final in February.

They now have to defeat Villa, an outstanding team that currently sits fourth in the Premier League. Earlier in the campaign, they also suffered a defeat at Stamford Bridge against them.

According to Peter Crouch, Villa will defeat Chelsea tonight. By the way, if Unai Emery’s team wins, it will be their third straight triumph over them.

Crouch said via his podcast: “It feels like they’re one loss away from something really catastrophic and Chelsea are in that boat. Against a Villa side… I still think they’re a top side and have been all season. That’s why I’m going 2-1 Villa.”

Chelsea vs Aston Villa

It’s wonderful to see Stamford Bridge reverting to its former status as a fortress, as Chelsea hasn’t dropped a game at home since a match against Brentford on October 28. They have, incidentally, scored 11 goals in their previous three games played in front of their home crowd.

Although Mauricio Pochettino’s team still has a ways to go before they can win over all of their skeptics, they have been making progress recently.

Pochettino’s possible starting lineup against Villa at home has been predicted by The Chelsea Chronicle.

Due to the short three-day turnaround after defeating Middlesbrough on Tuesday night, we expect some changes, but defeating Villa will require a formidable starting lineup and performance.

This season, there isn’t any football in Europe, so the domestic cups are more important. If we were to lose the FA Cup later today in the fourth round, we would be extremely disappointed.

With lengthy cup runs, we believe Pochettino can reduce the pressure that comes with average league performance.
