- David Raya (7/10): Composed. Though in an injury doubt this week. But did some extraordinary saves.
- Jurrien Timber (6/10): Challenged late on Savinho. Though it was enough to keep him away from the left flank.
- William Saliba (6/10): Not fully consistent. Haaland found space from him. Regained composure after Arsenal started unloading.
- Gabriel (7/10): The man who showed Haaland who he was that night. Truly an exceptional performance.
- Myles Lewis-Skelly (9/10): Incredible young man. The man who took the right decision at the right time, put the defense of City at shambles.
- Thomas Partey (8/10): Came up with few interceptions. Showed his place with his goal, a deflection from Foden.
- Declan Rice (7/10): STudied his way from the clumsy City midfielders. His aggressive pressing added to Odegaard’s start.
- Martin Odegaard (7/10): Started the riot within 2 minutes. It’s a little windy up after that. Though, it didn’t matter in the end.
- Gabriel Martinelli (6/10): Pace was expendable. Demonstrated his run behind the back. But questions remain in his consistency.
- Kai Havertz (7/10): Horrendous performance in the first half after golden chance misses. But, his hard work earned fortune after he scored the goal in the second half.
- Leandro Trossard (7/10): Proceeded the link-up play with the whole squad. Drew the attention to Lewis-Skelly waiting.
AUTHOR’S OPINION
These players have earned a huge respect in this game. Redemption, revenge, everything was there in this game.
Arteta is proud of his squad and wants to show he is coming up. No matter what happens, catching up with Liverpool is the hardest job now. If they continued this performance consistently, they would not face such problems.
