Pochettino reveals Mbappé asking about EPL amid Liverpool links

The proficient striker of France might be on his way to the English Premier League precisely Liverpool. It looks like a far fetched idea for now but the Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappé has manifested his desire to know about Liverpool and life outside the Ligue 1.

The Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino has gelled up quite well with the French star Kylian Mbappé. The former Spurs manager also revealed how Mbappe keeps asking him about his journey in the Premier League.

According to The Guardian, Pochettino said

“He [Mbappé] asks about England – how is the game, the mentality and the culture there?”

Pochettino also told about how good the 22-year-old PSG star is in English and Spanish. He further also added that the Frenchmen loves to talk about football and also is eager to learn new languages.

The PSG manager also revealed his conversation with Mbappé dring a training session saying

“I said to him the other day: ‘I need to practise my French with you, to improve,’ and he said: ‘Sure, but it’s better for me to talk in English.”

Apart from the Frenchman’s interest in the Premier League and life in England, Mbappé has also been linked with Liverpool. During an interview last year Mbappé also praised Jurgen Klopp for his style of football in Liverpool.

How likely are Liverpool to bring Mbappé at Anfield next season?

It is obvious that until the PSG striker sings a new contract there will be speculation about his future with the club. Talking about Liverpool signing Mbappé, It all looks perfect until the financial aspects come into play.

Recently Liverpool also reflected a loss of £46m in their balance sheet due to the prevailing pandemic in the world.

Apart from that, recently the PSG chief Nasser Al-Khelaifi also provided an update about Mbappé’s future with the club.

He said I think that next year Neymar will be at Paris Saint-Germain and he will stay here for a long time. Him [Neymar] and Mbappé have no reason to leave.”

All being said , it is highly unlikely that the French prodigy will end up at Anfield road in the next season.
