India have secured yet another comfortable victory over England in the 2nd T20I.

They beat England by 49 runs and have won the series 2-0 with just a match to go.

Starting with the toss, England won it and decided to bowl first.

Rohit Sharma started off things in style for India and quickly scored 31 from 20 balls.

Even Rishabh Pant looked in fine touch as he blazed 26 from just 15 balls.

However, India started losing wickets at a quick pace and were reduced to 98/5.

It was the last-minute heroics of Jadeja that helped India achieve a competitive total of 170.

England needed 171 to level the series.

Things started to derail for England right from ball one when Jason Roy was caught at slip off Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s bowling.

The rest of the English batters once again collapsed before India’s clinical bowling.

The only resistance came in the form of Moeen Ali and David Willey who made 35 and 33 respectively.

In the end, England were bundled out for just 121.

Jos Buttler, England skipper said that they did not play well at all and deserved to lose. Mentioned that they dominated the game quite well in the first innings when India lost a flurry of wickets. Praised Richard Gleeson for his exceptional performance on debut. Was also happy for Chris Jordan after his performance. Said that could have batted better. Mentioned that they should have chosen to bat first after winning the toss. Concluded by saying that they need to better in the next game and they don’t have much time to reflect on their loss.

Rohit Sharma, India captain said that they performed really well and it was a clinical one through and through. Mentioned that they are always up for a challenge and England gave them a pretty tough challenge today. Praised Jadeja for his batting when India were under pressure and said that Jadeja knew what to do in the situation and used all his experience. Added that they just need to keep challenging themselves. Said that they had superb Powerplay in both the matches and that is a crucial part of any match. Concluded by saying that they will have a chat about giving others a chance for the final T20I and not get carried away.
