According to reports, potential Chelsea new owner Josh Harris is estimated to be worth around $5.8 billion. While his partner David Blitzer is estimated to be worth around $1.3 billion.

Reports last month suggested that the club had two offers on Raine’s final shortlist. Both the proposals are led by US investors. The takeover is expected to complete in the next four to six weeks. The UK Government took down the restrictions they posed on the Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich. But the UK Government are still pushing for the club to be sold as soon as possible.

The bid led by Josh Harris and David Blitzer is one of the favorites to be accepted by the club. They have also added Sir Martin Broughton and Seb Coe to their bid to make a good impression on the Chelsea faithful. Harris and Blitzer both own Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA. They both also have a stake in fellow Premier League club Crystal Palace.

“Yes, it was so close – and it now happened. It’s good news for us”

“There are now very high chances that he will stay at Chelsea”

The manager also talked about centre-half Andreas Christensen potentially joining Spanish giants Barcelona on a free transfer. Tuchel confirmed that he heard the rumors about the centre-half joining the Spanish giants. He said:

“We heard the same rumours, yes – it’s like this”

“It’s not confirmed yet as I didn’t speak to Andreas about it. But we heard the same rumours, yes”.

While the manager also talked about a potential re-birth for club-record signing Romelu Lukaku at the club. Thomas Tuchel suggested that the striker was still in his plans and he could be really important for his side. Tuchel said:

“The situation in the moment is that we cannot sell or buy players. Romelu still plays a big part. Maybe not the part he wants to play…”

“I feel him very motivated. He’s a winner, and he will stay a winner, and stay important for us”.
