Premier League: Liverpool advances by a 13-point lead

Liverpool can be seen increasing their points by 13 points in the Premier League. They are at the top of the table.

LIVERPOOL ADVANCES IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE

In the recent developments, Liverpool has defeated Newcastle United by 2-0. They capitalized on their away match as Dominik Szobolszlai opened in the 11th minute. After that, the Argentine Mac Allister proceeded to increase the lead within the 63rd minute.

This easy win easily puts Liverpool p in front of others. Their dominance is eminent from the fact they are miles ahead of others. Therefore, they have secured 11 points from their last five games.

On the other hand, Arsenal’s title race has suffered a huge setback. Their latest goalless draw against Nottingham Forest made them stop in their tracks.

Despite controlling possession, they failed to convert the chances they had. The inconsistency is crystal clear from their recent performance. Thus, this leaves them 13 points behind the Reds, intensifying the pressure on Arteta.

Arsenal seems to be out of all the domestic competitions, like the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup. So, this Champions League might be their only chance to come even close to their silverware.

So, the differences, the mentality, and the prowess are evident in these two respective teams. On one hand, Liverpool sits at the top with 67 points. On the other hand, Arsenal is trailing with 54 points with a lesser goal difference than the league toppers.

AUTHOR’S OPINION

In summary, Arsenal is nowhere near Liverpool. Slot’s dominance continues as they comfortably beat Newcastle and place their position as the title favorites.

Meanwhile, Arsenal’ draw against Forest pushes them further away from the first position, also Liverpool. They might be out of the race for this season.
