Premier League remains a concern for Arteta

As we all know, Arsenal is trying to get back into the Premier League race again. It can be said that it’s over.

ANOTHER PREMIER LEAGUE BOTTLE

It is not even a joke anymore. Any fan with a perfect mind will think that this team can win. Also, when the dominating City are also on the brink of relegation, they still manage to lose it.

Since the iconic Invincible 2003/04 campaign, nothing seems to work with Arsenal. The League always seemed to be the Gunner’s ultimate target.

But they fail. They bottled every single time and they haven’t recovered from it. Their current coach has made significant strides in reshaping the team.

Arteta has focused on instilling a clear tactical identity, emphasizing structured build-up play. This also includes high pressing and defensive solidity.

The efforts were put in the 2022-23 season when Arsenal finished second. This, therefore resulted in Man City‘s win of the campaign.

The Gunnersโ€™ resurgence under Arteta is anchored by a core group of talented players. It included youngsters Saka, Martin ร˜degaard, Gabriel Martinelli, and William Saliba.

This young core provides a solid foundation for sustained success. But their development will be crucial in determining Arsenalโ€™s title chances.

But, all their effort goes in vain. Even with such a stacked team, they cannot win even after having a mentality.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN?

One of Arsenalโ€™s bottling reasons has been a lack of squad depth, particularly when injuries strike. To sustain a title challenge, they must continue to strengthen their squad.

So, this keeps ensuring there are quality backups in every position.

Recent signings like Declan Rice have addressed gaps. But further reinforcements in defense and attack might be necessary.

Arsenalโ€™s academy has consistently produced top talent, with Bukayo Saka being the prime example. It can be seen that Arteta continues to integrate young players effectively.

So, this could provide Arsenal with a competitive edge. Nurturing talents like Emile Smith Rowe, Ethan Nwaneri, and others could help Arsenal.

It can be seen that Arsenal is in the second in the Premier League. Their journey is going well, as always. But, again this Premier League won’t return in Emirates until Liverpool causes a blunder.

However, Liverpool is at the peak of their powers. They are unstoppable this season. So, catching up to them is a tough challenge for the Gunners.

AUTHOR’S OPINION

Arsenalโ€™s path to the Premier League title is far from straightforward.

Manchester City, under Pep Guardiola, remains the team to beat with their incredible depth and consistency. But, now they are in shambles.

Yet, Arsenal could not utilize the golden opportunity. So, they are still trailing behind the brand new manager Arne Slot’s squad.

Only a miracle can bring Arsenal their title after so many years. So, they will not have to win almost all their matches but also wait for a blunder of Liverpool.

Moreover, the unpredictable nature of the Premier League means surprise challengers can emerge. Dropping points in winnable games could be the difference between winning and finishing second or third.

Overall, in my opinion, Arsenal is not winning this season’s Premier League. They are too late. Liverpool deserves to win the Premier League.

On the other hand, inconsistency and too much experimentation always ruin Arsenal. They will have to reconsider keeping Arteta as their manager.

A more trajectory manager could help Arsenal get back on their feet. Until then, they can only hope for the title.

Comment about your opinion on Arsenal, will they ever win the League title?
