PSG is interested in signing Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich after they gave up on Benfica’s star Joao Neves.
Bayern Munich is ready to sell Joshua Kimmich if they get a good offer for the player and the reports says that the German giants can sell the in this summer transfer window.
Current deal of Kimmich is valid till 2025. Paris Saint-Germain and Man City are keeping an eye on German star. Bayern Munich is on the verge on signing the Brazilian midfielder Palhinha this season, so they are looking to sell Kimmich in order to generate some cash.
Bayern Munich have listed Joshua Kimmich in the transfer market
Joshua Kimmich, who had been the best player for the Bayern Munich for a very long time, but now is in the last season of his contract at Munich. He plays a very important role in the team, he can play at both right back position and also a defensive midfielder, but still he there is no news about his contract situation. This situation have grabbed the interest of many big clubs like Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain.
PSG had been keeping an eye on the Kimmich situation and have decided to take this opportunity to sign the player this summer according to Fabrizio Romano. They are now pushing this transfer after they failed to sign Neves from Benfica, the PSG coach likes the German and have given the green light to sign the German midfielder.
Luis Enrique likes Kimmich very much because of the skills, his versatility, the leadership quality that he has, not to forget the technical skills and we all know that Enrique loves those players who are great in technical skills.
Other than PSG, Barcelona is another club who is keeping an eye on the player, as they are in dire need of a defensive midfielder and you can’t get a better player than Kimmich, the player who is a world class and contains world class quality and also have a lot of experience which can help Barcelona’s young squad. Other reason for them to go after the german is because of their new coach Hansi Flick.
PSG will face a strong competition to sign the Kimmich
Hansi Flick had already worked with the player when he was the coach of Bayern Munich, the coach knows the player inside out and not just that even the player would like to play for the manager again if he got the opportunity, this gives Barcelona a upper hand than PSG.
The transfer of Kimmich to Barcelona can be delayed or it may never happen because currently the spanish giants are focused on Nico Williams and had made him their top priority.
Bayern Munich will finalize the signing of Joao Palhinha from Fulham soon, this could force Bayern hands to sell Kimmich as soon as possible, so that they could generate some profit from the player and could help them financially. Other reason is that the sale of the german could help the club to fund Palhinha deal. Fulham have agreed an amount of €46m for the Portuguese.
PSG is confident to sign the player, but they might face some competition from other clubs for the german. Clubs like Barcelona and Man City are also in the race to sign the player and both of the teams have a upper hand in the deal than PSG. Barcelona have Hansi Flick and as we all know Kimmich loves to play under the german coach, so he might choose the spanish side rather than the french and the Sky Blues are currently the best club in the world and every player would like to play for the club. There are some rumors that Real Madrid are also keeping an eye on the player.
