The Ranji Trophy quarterfinals are in full swing and all teams will be vying for a place in the semis.
Bangalore will be hosting all the matches of the tournament.
But, rain can play a spoilsport during the proceedings.
The teams that have qualified for the quarterfinals are Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Mumbai, Karnataka, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.
While the elite group teams qualified straight for the quarterfinals, several other teams had to play a pre-quarterfinal match.
Bengal will be without the services of Mohammed Shami and Wriddhiman Saha as the latter had a fall-out with CAB after wanting a NOC to not participate in the tournament.
Jharkhand, on the other hand, will desperately want to win the trophy after they were snubbed by Saurashtra in the 2019-20 final.
Mumbai did not have a straightforward entry into the quarterfinals as they had to fulfil a lot of other factors to get a spot.
Uttarakhand have once again entered the quarterfinals but they have joined the Ranji Trophy only three seasons back.
Mumbai are the favourites going into the clash.
The rest of the teams will also battle it out in the quarterfinals to get a spot for the semis.
