Ralf Rangnick faces the heat in the dressing room as Manchester United conceded another embarrassing loss against Manchester City.

The Red Devils lost to Manchester City by a margin of 4:1 on 6 March. Moreover, the club had to go out of the top four as a result of this loss. Arsenal’s win against Watford earlier in the day helped the Gunners to secure the fourth position.

As per former West Ham striker Frank McAvennie, Manchester United need a permanent manager to solve the situation. The veteran spoke exclusively to Football Insider after another defeat for Manchester United.

Meanwhile, Manchester United is currently in the fifth spot in the League table. They have managed to secure 47 points out of the 28 matches played.

Ralf Rangnick situation in the club

As stated by Manchester Evening News, some Man United players are still dissatisfied with Rangnick’s methods.

McAvennie insists Man United that they don’t have a manager. Moreover, he also claimed that one of the players in the dressing rooms respects Rangnick’s decision and tactics.

“They don’t have a manager,

“They have a guy who is filling in until the end of the season. No wonder no one respects him.

Why would you? He’s not going to be your boss next season. They have the full season to go when they sacked Ole.

These players need a leader and there aren’t any there. Ronaldo is the closest thing to that.

You would think he could have got these players switched on. They would be thinking ‘hang on, that’s Ronaldo, I need to up my game.

That hasn’t happened and nothing will change until a proper manager comes in.”

Manchester United will be next in action against Tottenham on 12 March, Saturday. Arsenal is just a point ahead of the Red Devils. However, the Gunners still have three games in hand.

Meanwhile, fresh questions were asked about Ralf Rangnick by several pundits after the game. It remains to be seen if the German tactician is able to deal with the ever-growing problems of Manchester United.
