According to reports, Manchester United are open to sell Rasmus Hojlund in the June transfer market.
Rasmus Hojlund likely to leave Old Trafford
Manchester United will be listening to offers for Hojlund, as per reports. He was one of the biggest signings but couldn’t make the expected impact in England.
The Red Devils are preparing for the summer transfer window. Head coach Ruben Amorim will have his opportunity to sign some talented players when the market opens. His side is currently struggling to perform at the highest level.
The Portuguese head coach will be having limited funds for the June window. He won’t be having the financial freedom as compared to Man City, Liverpool or Arsenal. However, he will try to make the most of it.
He will try to sign players who can have immediate impact under his system. As per reports, he is also looking into his former side Sporting Lisbon to attract few of his former players.
Amorim’s side are also expecting few exits as well at the end of this season. Marcus Rashford, Antony, Casemiro and Jadon Sancho all are expected to leave in June.
Utd don’t see Rasmus in their future plans ?
As per a recent report from GiveMeSport, a highly paid player previously signed by United can potentially depart as well. Hojlund left the Italian side Atalanta for ยฃ64 million in 2023.
This comes despite the report claiming the Dane is not keen to leave. He has been making a case to Amorim and others that he should have further opportunities.
He has just eight goals and less than two months left in the season. At one time, the striker had gone 22 games without even scoring. And only got off the mark once again against Leicester on March 16.
Itโs no surprise then, Ruben Amorim is reportedly happy to listen to offers for Rasmus.
