Real Madrid fans were delighted when they saw Antonio Rudiger back in starting eleven against Elche in La Liga.
Rudiger joined Real Madrid this summer from Chelsea on a free transfer. He has already scored two goals in thirteen appearances for the Spanish champions. He scored a superhero goal in a 1-1 draw against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League and saved a point for the team.
However, unfortunately, in an attempt to head the ball into the goal, he collided with Shakhtar’s goalkeeper and got himself injured on the head. He was taken off the field, reports suggest that the german defender required 21 stitches for his injury.
He came as a substitute in El Classico against Barcelona and received a standing ovation at Santigo Bernabeu.

In a La Liga clash against Elche on October 19, he is back on starting lineup alongside Eder Militao, David Alaba, and Dani Carvajal.
