Florentino Perez wants Josko Gvardiol at Real Madrid.
Gvardiol may fix Real Madrid’s defence:
Florentino Perez have been eyeing Josko Gvardiol from Manchester City at the moment. Los Blancos are really in need of good defensive options right now. This is because, they have already been facing a lot of injury issues. Éder Militão have been on the sidelines for a while now. He have been facing with injury issue for Real Madrid most of the season. David Alaba will return most probably after his ACL Injury as well. Real Madrid were so short of defensive options that Carlo Ancelotti had to use Aurélien Tchouaméni as a defender in the backline although he is a midfielder as well.
Will he fit in the squad?
Rudiger is a really good defender as well. However, he is 31 years old now and Perez wants a young defender with a lot of potential as well. Fichajes said that Gvardiol is the player whom Real Madrid is eyeing at the moment. The young Croatian defender is a really good talent and have got a lot of success in Manchester City as well. Real Madrid won the UEFA Champions League and La Liga last season and they are looking forward to continue that this season as well.

I think Florentino Perez will definitely sign Gvardiol. He is one of the best Presidents in the history of Football. At the same time Gvardiol may not let go of the opportunity of joining Real Madrid. Trent Alexander Arnold is also being targeted by Real Madrid at the moment and a lot of fans are already sure that he will join Real Madrid too. It is all a matter of time now but Real Madrid must act fast to sign a defender who can fix their injury issues this season and someone with a lot of potential as well.
