The German international has contract expiring in June 2022 and is now free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with other clubs. The 28-year-old still remains an important player to Tuchel’s side as he has started 20 Premier League games this season.
Rudiger has attracted interest from all over Europe due to his phenomenal performances for Germany and Chelsea in the last year. Moreover, he will be a cheaper option and can be signed as a free agent. In addition, he has scored two goals and assisted two in the Premier League this season. All the interested clubs have the need for a center-back who is in good form.
