Real Madrid winger and star, Rodrygo, is going to help the new Chelsea signing, Estevao, for a better future. Both Rodrigo and Estevao play together for Brazil national team. Rodrygo is a star player, both, for Real Madrid and his national team. Meanwhile, Estevao is still very young, having just recently signed a contract with Premier League giants Chelsea. Recently, Rodrygo said that he is going to help his countryman for better development, and a better career ahead.
Rodrygo is ready to help his teammate Estevao
Rodrygo joined Spanish giants, Real Madrid, in 2019 at just the age of 18. Right now he is only 23, but has already become an influential figure in the current Real Madrid squad. Last season, the Brazilian scored 17 goals and provided 8 assists in 51 appearances for the Los Blancos. Rodrygo has improved every season and provided his best for Real Madrid.
Now, the Brazilian wants to share his experience with young talents like Estevao Willian, who is beginning his football career with Chelsea.
The Blues signed Estevao in this summer transfer window, from Brazilian side, Palmeiras. However, the 17 year-old will join the Blues in 2025. As for now, he will stay at Palmeiras.
Recently, Brazil beat Ecuador by 1-0 on Saturday during their World Cup qualification round. Rodrygo scored the deciding goal in that match. The Real Madrid star scored in the 30th minute to give Brazil the lead. Estevao was also involved in the match but only as a substitute player, who came on the pitch in the 62nd minute in place of Henrique. The 17 year-old had a decent game, created one chance, and took one shot in the match. Brazil ended up winning the match with a just a one goal margin.
What did the Real Madrid youngster say about Estaveo?
Lots of speculations are going on about the future of Estevao and his future performance with Chelsea. Rodrygo believes that he gained some experience over the years. Rodrygo has also publicly said that he is going to share his experience with Estaveo, and help him as much as possible.
After the match against Ecuador, Rodrygo said,
“Regardless of age, I know I’m very young, I’m only 23, but I end up being the most experienced of the group. You see Estevao at 17, Henrique at 18. So, they are very young boys, so even though I’m young, I can pass on some of this experience to them.”
Estaveo is just 17 and he cannot join the Blues until he becomes 18. Chelsea fans are very interested to see their new winger. However, they have to wait for a while to see Estaveo in their blue shirt. Before officially joining the Blues, it will be beneficiary for Estevao if he gets some experience from his star national side teammate.
Estevao was used as a substitute player in the last match for Brazil. It is still unclear when the 17 year-old will get his first start for Brazil.
Next month there will be another international break and in that international break, Brazil will face Chile and Peru. Estevao could get his first start for his national team in these upcoming three matches. Or he may be used as a substitute once again by manager Dorival Junior, who knows.
