Reanne Stubbs shares an outlook on Rafael Nadal-Roger Federer friendship

Reanne Stubbs, Six Sports

Former Grand Slam doubles champion Rennae Stubbs believes Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are both outstanding sportsmen and wonderful people.

“I believe that Roger and Rafa shall be synonymous collectively and as they need to be, as a result of each of them are simply genuinely good, good fellows and unimaginable athletes,”

According to Sportskeeda, Reanne Stubbs said during the Off The Ball podcast.

After Federer declared his plan to retire after the Laver Cup, Nadal praised him in a detailed Instagram statement.

Nadal and Federer have always maintained a high regard for one another, and Stubbs believes their friendship is genuine.

“I believe it was as a result of they genuinely appreciated one another as folks, I believe that they had genuine, genuine respect and appreciated each other as folks. They have been genuinely good pals. And I believe the extent of respect they’ve for each other confirmed on the courtroom,”

Stubbs included.

Rennae Stubbs: Real friendship exists between Federer and Nadal.

There is no hatred between Nadal, Federer, and Djokovic. Nevertheless, it is a well-known truth that Nadal and Federer have a stronger bond than Djokovic.

“You understand, I do not assume that Rafa and Novak have that form of friendship,”

Stubbs said.

There is no doubt that Roger and Novak don’t share that kind of bond. Nonetheless, Roger and Rafa are good buddies.

When people say, “I need to congratulate you,” “well done,” or similar phrases, they typically mean it. They have a close friendship that is genuine.

You realize, in my opinion, that they do not judge one another based on their past deeds. Like Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova, they believe they have improved one another.

They both know, I believe, that they bring out the very best in one another, and they remain close friends even to this day. Nadal might be in line to compete in the Laver Cup, which will be the first since Federer’s retirement.
