Maresca’s response
The Chelsea manager would actually go on to defend the winger. He would justify Madueke’s action by stating that he may be furious with his performance and not the decision to bring him off. Also, he would state that it was a tactical decision. We can understand the dedication of the players. But, at the same time, Rio Ferdinand asking Enzo Maresca for a punishment is not wrong either.
