Romelu Lukaku future hangs in the middle as the Blues have to decide on Belgian’s future in the summer.

French Legend Thierry Henry has revealed that there are multiple clubs, Lukaku can join in the summer. The Belgian Striker scored a goal against Porto in the Champions League on Wednesday. Lukaku suffered a tough time since his summer loan move to Inter Milan.

After joining Chelsea for £97.5m in 2021, he fell out with former manager Thomas Tuchel and his playing time decreased at Stanford Bridge. However, it’s a complex situation for Inter as they need to agree to the condition of the loan once for next season. The Belgian doesn’t look bright at the San Siro.

Speaking about the situation, Henry said in the Post-match show:-

“We had a discussion when he went to Chelsea. I told him he’s going to find it difficult to play there because of the way Thomas Tuchel liked to play.

“Rom likes to stay where he is. Feed him, play him in early and he’ll try to bully you. He was a different type of man to what Tuchel wanted. Is he going to fit what Potter’s trying to do? And what does he want to do? I don’t think he wants to go back. He wants to stay at Inter.”

Current Chelsea manager, Graham Potter doesn’t find Lukaku in his scheme of plans but there are also dark clouds over the former Brighton manager’s future. Potter has suffered a torrid season since the blues last year. Whereas, they are possible rumors about Potter’s sacking, due to his poor form.
