Romelu Lukaku Stated To Make an Early Return From His Injury For Chelsea

tennis player

Federico Pastorello, the agent for Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku, believes he will be able to recover from an ankle injury soon.

The 28-year-old was taken off midway through the first half of Wednesday’s Champions League match against Malmo. With a twisted ankle after being the victim of a hard challenge.

The Belgium international is said to be facing a month on the sidelines. While missing at least five of Chelsea’s next five games.

Pastorello said: “I was very worried because Romelu is a player who wants to play. The fact he stayed lying on the pitch so long after the penalty.

The fact he was down for four minutes, I was with Petr Cech and I told him while watching the game that it was something I was scared about because he isn’t one to make a fake scene. When he stood up I thought it is not a good sign and now we are waiting for the exams so we will know something more soon.

He is concentrated and will be focused on his recovery as soon as possible. He has his physio at home so he is working hard every evening even before he goes to sleep so if there is a time to come back it will be earlier than planned.

Chelsea Without Romelu Lukaku

Lukaku isn’t one to exaggerate his ailments. And he’s been pretty durable in recent years. While missing only a handful of games during his time at Inter Milan. He appeared to be in a lot of discomforts during his lengthy on-pitch treatment. While was unable to return to the bench for the second half (unlike the hobbled Timo Werner), and had to leave the stadium on crutches.

In their absence (and Werner’s hamstring is almost certainly a multi-week injury as well, especially because they tend to be extra-annoying strains). Kai Havertz and, ideally, Callum Hudson-Odoi will see a lot more action. Those two already looked potential when they connected for Chelsea’s third goal last night.

While taking a look at that game. The goals were scored by Andreas Christensen, Jorginho, and Kai Havertz for Chelsea, who dominated their opponent throughout the game. Following a cross from Thiago Silva, Christensen opened the scoring for Chelsea. The ball was blasted down into the turf by the Danish centre-back, and the bounce beat the keeper.

Jorginho increased the lead soon before halfway when Lasse Nielsen took down Romelu Lukaku inside the penalty area. After halftime, Havertz increased Chelsea’s advantage by lifting the ball over the Malmo goalie. After Rudiger was hauled down in the penalty area, Jorginho converted his second penalty of the game.
