Former India player, Sanjay Manjrekar in an interview said that Dravid is a master at handling young players.

Manjrekar also said that Dravid will be able to manage the high expectations.

He however said that what will be challenging for Dravid will be picking out the playing XI in ICC tournaments.

India has suffered defeats in four to five ICC tournaments because of wrong team selections.

So, Dravid will mostly have to find the perfect combinations for the team if they are to win ICC tournaments.

Some of the other roles that Dravid will have to perform will be teaching the team tactics and helping them in between overs.

Dravid was appointed the head coach of India after he played the role to perfection at the junior level and India-A sides.

He even brought high levels of professionalism to the National Cricket Academy when he was the head.

So, a lot will depend on Dravid when India will be participating in the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup.

He has even mentioned in the press conference that he will not be making any drastic changes to the side.

Dravid also added that he will be giving all the players proper opportunities as and when the occasion arises.
