Leeds United have emerged as potential suitors for Sergio Aguero, who will become a free agent soon. Aguero recently announced that he will not be extending his contract with the Premier League champions-elect. He is putting an end to an illustrious ten-year tenure at the club.
The Whites smashed their transfer record when they paid £27 million for Valencia forward Rodrigo last year. The Spaniard has struggled to live up to expectations at Elland Road. He has scored only three goals in 18 Premier League appearances. Leeds is keen to offload him this summer. Following Rodrigo’s exit, Marcelo Bielsa’s side will need attacking reinforcements.
