According to Sky Sports, Serie A striker Victor Osimhen transfer to Chelsea is looking unlikely. Chelsea are unable to meet his huge price tag. Chelsea had one of their toughest seasons in recent times. They ended on the sixth place on the Premier League table. This will mean their next season will be without European football. Chelsea signed many players for huge transfer fees and now most of the players could not perform to justify their price tag. Many youngsters signed by Chelsea are still struggling to adapt to English football. Signings like Romeo Lavia are yet to play their first official match for the club. Chelsea are also struggling with injury crisis like most of the other clubs of Premier League. However as the situation stands Chelsea could not adapt to these problems like other clubs. Chelsea also sacked their manager Mauricio Pochettino on a very short notice.
As it stands things are not going pretty well for the London club. Their signings like Moises Caicedo is still not able to find his form with the club. The youngster took his good time to settle to English football and Mauricio Pochettino’s tactics. His performances towards the end of the season were really good. However now that Pochettino is gone the youngster will have to adapt under new manager. Chelsea appointed Enzo Maresca as their manager for the new season. The former Leicester City manager spend only one year with Leicester City before coming to Chelsea. The best player for Chelsea last season was youngster Cole Palmer. He was the goal scoring machine for Chelsea last season. Pochettino’s tactics of aggressive attacking and direct play helped Chelsea win a lot of penalties last season. Palmer was able to convert maximum of these penalties with fans calling him “Cold Palmer”.
Can Chelsea find suitable replacement for Serie A striker?
As the situation stands Chelsea will not be able to sign Victor Osimhen and will give one last try to decrease his £110m release clause. On the other hand Chelsea made a £42m bid for Atletico Madrid striker Samu Omorodion. The bid is rejected as of now with the Spanish club demanding for at least £70m. Moving on to Liverpool, the club has decided not to sell Mohammed Salah this season. Salah will stay under Arne Slot despite offers from Saudi. Liverpool are also targeting Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners. The midfielder was really praised by Jurgen Klopp and will be a great prospect for their midfield next season. Manchester City’s star player Kevin De Bruyne may leave the club this summer. The midfielder is linked with many Saudi clubs and will leave if the right offer comes along.

Liverpool are also linked with a move for England winger Anthony Gordon. The transfer looks unlikely however Gordon had potential talks with his English teammates over Liverpool move.
