Shubman Gill jumps to 38th position in ICC ODI Player Rankings

After his recent exploits in West Indies and Zimbabwe, Shubhman Gill is seeing great strides in his rankings as he has now jumped up 93 places to occupy the 38th position.

This position comes to him after his brilliant stint against Zimbabwe in which he was adjudged the Player of the Series once again.

Gill had scores of 82*, 33 and then 130 which was his maiden ODI century. Against the West Indies, Gill had scores of 64, 43 and 98*.

Even Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza has jumped up places to occupy the 25th position in the ODI rankings.

In another ODI series between Pakistan and the Netherlands, Imam-ul-Haq dropped from second place to fourth as he had scores of only 2 and 6.

Babar Azam continues to rule the roost in the ODI rankings after which it is Rassie van der Dussen and Quinton de Kock of South Africa at 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Kagiso Rabada of South Africa has moved to the 3rd position in the ICC Test rankings after his five-wicket haul against England at Lord’s.

Anrich Nortje too has moved up 14 places to be at the 25th position in the Test rankings after taking 6 wickets in the same match.

Pat Cummins and Ravichandran Ashwin continue to remain in the top two spots in the Test rankings while Shaheen Afridi and Jasprit Bumrah complete the top five list.
