The Arsenal midfielder played a trick with Stadium Astro when he said that Haaland should come to Arsenal if he makes a move to the Premier League.

Haaland remains one of the most sort after player in the world right now. He has been phenomenal for Borussia Dortmund this season scoring 25 goals in 27 appearances.

News have been doing the rounds that Haaland is coming to Premier League next season. It has moreover, been known from Mail Online that Haaland has agreed to personal terms with Manchester City. The wage agreed is a whopping £500,000- a week.

Manchester City could easily have a go at Haaland as his release clause is an ordinary £63 million. City should consider themselves extremely lucky if they get Haaland so cheap.

Besides, enjoying camaraderie with Haaland on the national team, Odegaard knows Haaland quite well. Therefore, when asked about Haaland’s future, he invited his friend to come and play for Arsenal.

“He’s a funny guy, he’s a good guy and a good friend of mine. A great player of course. We will see what he will do, but if he’s coming to England he needs to come to us, of course,”

he told Stadium Astro.

Can Arsenal bid for Haaland?

It would be a mouth-watering deal if Arsenal succeeds in signing Haaland this summer. Arsenal are in need of a quality striker and Haaland would be no perfect.

Arsenal can easily put a bid for him as his release clause is nothing out of the world. It is within the Gunners’ price range. Haaland would also not become the club’s most expensive signing with that sort of fee.

However, surely Arsenal are still not in a state to bid for understandably the world’s greatest scorer, right now. Moreover, City would push to make this deal go through as they are in desperate need of a striker.
