Strikers to be found within free agents: Arsenal needs them

Arsenal requires strikers. Kai Havertz is also injured for the rest of the season. So, Arteta wants to explore various strategies of attacking options.

ADJUSTMENT OF STRIKERS

This means deploying central defender William Saliba as a striker. He played as an attacker during his youth.

Another solution is midfielder Mikel Merino. During a recent match against Leicester, he played as a center-forward and successfully scored both goals. This performance means he could for now temporarily fill the striking role.

Thus, this performance has made them optimistic. So, they need someone experienced as they failed to secure a modern approach.

In such a transfer situation, Arsenal may now consider signing retired players. One such name is Chelsea’s Diego Costa. He, at the age of 36, brings Premier League experience and a combative style of play.

A few other agents include players like Mariano Diaz and former Arsenal player Carlos Vela. These options still have various risks for potential awards.

Thus, youth academies might have to be looked after. Young players can bring dynamism, but they inherit high risks. So, many coaches may have to rely on experience here.

Thus, Arsenal has a chance to sign a valuable player for their benefit. So, signing old players only for the show is not going to give them anything except defeats.

AUTHOR’S OPINION

Thus, overall the Gunners have to be consistent on their track record. Their Premier League seems to be far gone as Liverpool has won their latest match. As long as Liverpool is in the race, they will suffer this season.

But to survive a humiliation, rather than a poor bottle, they have to check for new players, youth academy, and strategic free agent signings.

Comment down your thoughts on Arsenal’s striker conditions.
