Stuart Broad gives away the most expensive over in a Test match against India

The vibes of the 2007 ICC T20 World Cup were on show today at Edgbaston.

Jasprit Bumrah smashed England’s best pacer Stuart Broad for 35 runs today.

15 years ago, Yuvraj Singh had done a similar thing to Broad.

He smashed 6 sixes in Broad’s over during the inaugural edition of the ICC T20 World Cup.

Fans and former cricketers were shocked by the events of today.

Many fans took to Twitter to share the joy of Bumrah smashing Broad.

They mocked Broad on the platform after the bowler gave away this many runs in a Test match.

Prior to this onslaught, Broad had Shami caught out and thought that he would get Bumrah out in a similar fashion.

Also, with the wicket of Shami, Broad became the second bowler after James Anderson to pick up 550 Test wickets.

However, his day turned sour when Bumrah hit Broad to all parts of the park.

India finished at a score of 416 in their first innings.

England are currently at 60/3 while the rain has delayed play at Edgbaston.
