Women's Cricket

India lost their first match to Pakistan in T20 world cup 2021. Contrary to the expectations, Pakistan defeated India in a world cup match. A new beginning set-up after Babar Azam led Pakistan played and outperformed Indian cricketers in all ways. They earned the most deserved win. This was the second consecutive win for Pakistan against India.

Pakistan’s victory was spectacular. From the beginning to the end, they dominated the game. Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant, on the other hand, guided the side to a good score, but it was clearly insufficient.

India has now lost two games in a row to Pakistan. In the 2017 ICC World Champion Trophy, the neighbouring country had defeated India in the finals. And the second defeat occurred after a four-year hiatus in the second meeting. India’s record of winning all of its matches versus Pakistan is no longer valid.

Pakistan has proven its worth and is demonstrating its potential on a global stage. This is something India could not have predicted. But, as with anything, there had to be a first time. Everything comes to an end, and change is unavoidable. India’s unblemished record versus Pakistan in World Cup events has to come to an end at some point.

The bowlers India had the worst day in the opening fixture of the T20 World Cup 2021. They failed to take a single wicket. However, Team India is still in the tournament. Though, they must maintain their net run rate till the next time. Team India requires the correct combination of players on the field in order to return victorious.

In their allotted 20 overs, Pakistan had to chase down 152 runs.

While chasing, Mohammad Rizwan scored 79 runs and Babar Azam 68 runs, leading Pakistan to a 10-wicket victory.

The emotions involved in a game between India and Pakistan for the billions of supporters from both nations are unfathomable. More than the players’ genuine friendship and mutual respect for one another, which has been evident for years, the feelings that the respective countrymen have for this particular match, which a former India player once referred to as “the mother of all cricket clashes that must be experienced to understand,” is something special.
