‘That’s quite smooth’ – Christian Horner to the Youtuber who put his face on a Formula 2 car

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner was left stunned but rather impressed by a Youtuber’s actions to put his face on a Formula 2 car.

Christian Horner took some time away from the F1 drama at the 2022 Italian GP. A delighted Horner saw Max Verstappen come home to secure his 11th win of the season.

While enjoying the time away from all the drama, Horner met Youtuber and entrepreneur Carl Runefelt. Runefelt recently featured on the Forbes 30 under 30 due to his endeavors. The billionaire recently turned his attention to Formula 1.

Runefelt – famously referred to as the Moon posted a video on his Instagram. The video features him talking to Christian Horner amusingly alongside David Coulthard at an event.

The caption of the video read:

“I put my face on a Formula 2 car and Christian Horner likes the idea” – along with a laughing emoji.

In the short video, Runefelt shows Horner and Coulthard the car on his phone and says:

 “I put my face on the car (Formula car)”

“Oh, you put your OWN face on the car?”

Horner exclaimed.

“Now that is that’s quite smooth.”

“Yeah exactly, it’s a first!”

Coulthard added.

Runefelt continued:

“You’ve got to do what you’ve got to do to…”

“Promote yourself,”

Horner continued.

Coulthard then questioned Runefelt that whether this endeavor was making him somewhat popular to which the content creator replies:

“Yeah in the Formula 2 paddock, everyone is like [pointing],”

Runefelt suggested.

“Literally, people recognise me from that. It’s fun. It works.

“I mean, you’ve got to do something that no one did before to stick out!”

Horner appeared baffled at first and then replied

“I like it!”.

Max Verstappen leads the championship standings with 335 points after the Italian Grand Prix.
