Manchester United spent more than £150m in this summer transfer window. The Red Devils brought in some young talents and high-profile players. Now, the club wants to offload some players from the existing squad to generate some profit before the end of this summer transfer window. United were able to create close to £80m from the player selling including the sale of Mason Greenwood and Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Now another high-profile Manchester United player is likely to leave the club and he is Jadon Sancho.
Will Jadon Sancho leave Manchester United this summer?
Jadon Sancho joined Manchester United in 2021 from Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund, with a transfer fee of £73m after signing a five-year contract with the Red Devils. Despite spending that huge amount, Jadon Sancho never found his best form with Manchester United. In his last two seasons with the United, Sancho made 79 appearances across all competitions scored 12 times, and registered only 6 assists.
Last season, Jadon Sancho and Erik Ten Hag had a fight which led him to be kicked out of the squad. As a result of this Jadon Sancho made only 3 appearances for Manchester United in the first half of the season. Then, he moved to his former club Dortmund on loan for the rest of the season.
That loan move did work for Sancho as he made 21 appearances for them across all competitions, and scored 3 goals and 2 assists. Also, the Englishmen performed brilliantly in the Champions League for the Donrtmund, helping the side to reach the final. So, after his brilliant performance in Germany, Sancho came back to Manchester. And in July, news came out that Erik Ten Hag is ready to work with Jason Sancho.
Sancho eventually played four club friendlies in the pre-season, followed by the Community Shield final against Manchester City. It looked like things were really changing and looked like Jadon Sancho was going to stay at United. However, rumors are coming out now that Sancho could leave the Red Devils before the end of this summer transfer window.
Chelsea and Juventus are trying to sign Jadon Sancho
Many big clubs are linked with the Englishmen including Premier League side Chelsea and Italian side Juventus. Juventus winger, Federico Chiesa, is on the verge of joining the Premier League side, Liverpool. Now, the Bianconeri want to sign a new winger to replace Chiesa. So, Jadon Sancho’s move will be a good transfer business for Juventus.
However, it is not going to be easy as Chelsea are also chasing the winger. No club has spent more money on this summer transfer window than Chelsea. But still, the Blues are chasing more players and Jadon Sancho of Manchester United is one of them. Sancho’s move to Stamford Bridge also depends on the fact of Raheem Sterling’s future with the Blues. Chelsea are very interested in signing Sancho, but at first, they want to sell Raheem Sterling. New boss Enzo Maresca, already said that he has no future plans with Sterling, which means a move to a new club will be perfect for Sterling. The Blues are very confident that they will be able to find a solution for Raheem Sterling. That will ultimately open the door for Jadon Sancho.

Manchester United is very close to sealing the deal of PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte. The Uruguayan midfielder is going to join the Red Devils with a transfer fee of around £50m with some add-ons. Manchester United offered a five-year contract with an option to for a further one year to the 23-year-old. All the papers have been exchanged between the two clubs. Manuel Ugarte will travel to Manchester to complete his medical.
