The former Chelsea player wishes to return to the club and Premier League after his time at Roma. Reports from Italy suggest Tammy Abraham might have an offer from Chelsea this January. According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the offer might come in the summer when the player’s release clause of £70m is activated. The Englishman have struggled with his form after a successful season in Premier League. His fall in form came to him as a nightmare as he missed his spot in the World Cup squad.
Chelsea might try and make the player return to the Premier League
The Italian outlet reported that the player was always interested in coming back to Premier League. Arsenal are said to be one of the clubs that have shown interest in the player. Abraham enjoyed most of his success under the then-manager Frank Lampard when the club was under a transfer ban in the season 2019/20. Though in the following season new signings joined the club and the likes of Kai Havertz and Timo Werner made the striker fight for his place in the starting lineups. It put a limit on his playing time at the club.
Chelsea’s possible interest in future
With the reports of Chelsea signing Christopher Nkunku, it could be said that they are looking at different striking options this transfer window. But they are also looking for someone who would solve their misfortune with strikers for a decade or so.
