Cristiano Ronaldo became the first men’s footballer to score 900 goals, reaching his new milestone on Thursday against Croatia. The “Goal Machine” reached this historic feat when he scored from close range following a cross from Nuno Mendes in the 34th minute. This goal turned out to be the winner as Portugal won the game 2-1.
CR7 became very emotional as the ball crossed the goal line, he ran towards the corner flag and fell down to his knees after reaching this incredible milestone. He also has scored the most international goals in football history, 131.
In his highly illustrated club career, he has scored 450 goals for Real Madrid. The 39-year old is the Spanish club’s all time highest goal scorer. He has left an everlasting impression at every club he has played for, scoring 142 goals for Manchester United and 101 goals for Juventus. His mind goal scoring boggling records bagged him five ‘balon d’ors’ in his career.
Ronaldo looked very emotional after reaching this new milestone in his career. He says;
βIt means a lot, it was a milestone I wanted to reach for a long time. I knew I would reach this number, because as I continue to play, it would happen naturally.“
“It was emotional because itβs a milestone, It seems like any other milestone, but only I know, and the people around me, how hard it is to work every day, to be physically and psychologically fit, to score 900 goals. Itβs a unique milestone in my career.β
CR7 is not done yet: “I want to reach 1000 goals”
Cristiano Ronaldo has reached the pinnacle of his football career as he reached yet another landmark. He is considered by many to be “The Greatest Player of All Time.”
However, the 39 year-old ace isn’t done yet. He wants to compete at the highest level until he feels he is physically fit to contribute to the team.
Ronaldo created his own Youtube channel few weeks ago and invited Rio Ferdinand to his podcast. He is already targeting his next milestone. He says;
“I want to reach 1,000 goals if I don’t have any injuries, this for me is the most important, I want that. For me, the best mark that I can have in football is to reach, first, 900 goals. After, my challenge is to be at 1,000 goals.”
Cristiano has become what he is today because of his sheer determination, discipline and mentality. Critics said the 39-year old is finished when he left for Saudi club Al-Nassr. However, he has showed no signs of slowing down as he has scored 68 goals in 74 caps for the club. He is still one of the most prolific goal scorers in the world.
Ronaldo came out after the game and emphasized that records chase him. He says;

Cristiano Ronaldo has set his eyes on conquering the Youtube throne, after creating his own Youtube channel. He is keen on replacing American youtuber, MrBeast as the most subscribed creator.
The 39-year old’s new channel reached 50 million subscribers in just few weeks, showcasing his massive fan following across the world. Ronaldo aims to dethrone Mr. Beast within next two years and cement himself above any other content creator. He trails the American content creator by 263 million subscribers.
Ronaldo took just one day to reach 20 million subscribers, a milestone which took MrBeast 28 days to achieve. In a press conference, ahead of Portugal facing Scotland the “goal machine” says;
βMrBeast on YouTube? In two years, letβs try to beat him.”
We all know about his competitiveness, when he sets out to achieve something, he does achieve it. Ronaldo is the most followed celebrity on Instagram, having over 600 million followers. His football career might be in it’s concluding phase but his new Youtube career has just begun. His next goal seems to be bit worrying for the Youtube community, especially the Beast Gang.
He has surpassed his football rival, Lionel Messi on Youtube as well. The Argentine has 3.3 million subscribers, which CR7 surpassed in just few hours after launching.
