The situation of Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo is getting worse every day

The sister of Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has criticized Erik Ten Hag for substituting him against Newcastle United. Ronaldo was also not happy with the substitution.

Hence, his exit from Old Trafford is coming more and more closer. The forward wanted to leave the club in the summer transfer window.

THE STORY OF CRISTIANO RONALDO AT MANCHESTER UNITED

Manchester United signed Cristiano Ronaldo before the last season. They signed him in a hope that he could lead them to Champions League glory. However, since then everything has gone wrong for him and the club. The club had to sack Ole Gunnar Solskjær. Hence, Ralf Ragnick was appointed as an interim manager to stabilize the situation.

However, he also failed to control the situation. Due to this, Manchester United failed to reach the Champions League. Hence, Ronaldo had to play Europa League after a long time in his career. The forward also tried to leave in this summer transfer window. However, no club in the Champions League showed interest in him.

THE SITUATION AT THE CLUB FOR THE FORWARD IS GETTING BAD EVERY DAY

Erik Ten Hag was appointed the manager of the club. Hence, he made the decision to leave Cristiano Ronaldo on the bench in the Premier League. This was because Ronaldo had only played one game in the Pre-season. Although, he has started in all games of the Europa League. However, Ten Hag gave him a rare start against Newcastle United.

This was after his contributions against Everton. However, he could not contribute anything against Newcastle United. Hence, he was substituted in the 72nd minute. However, the decision comes back to bite Ten Hag. His replacement Marcus Rashford ended up missing an easy chance to win the game in the last minute. Cristiano Ronaldo’s sister also criticized Ten Hag for the move. She said on Instagram,

 “it was too late“.

Hence, this makes it clear that Ronaldo’s situation at Manchester United is getting worse every day. Therefore, he and the club need to find a solution to the problem in the January transfer window. However, for now, Ronaldo will stay put at Old Trafford till the January window.
