CRISTIANO RONALDO AND SERIE A DUO LINKS FULL STORY
According to reports, two Serie-A giants have rejected the chance to sign Cristiano Ronaldo this summer. The two clubs rumored to reject him are A.C Milan and Inter Milan. The report also states that both the clubs do not have the finances required to sign the forward. This is despite the forward being ready to take a pay cut to join a Champions League club.
However, the Italian giants will need to sell a number of players to sign the 37-year-old forward on reduced terms. Another factor to take into consideration is Manchester United are reportedly asking for £30m for his departure. The owners of Manchester United are in no mood to let the forward leave for a reduced fee. However, the Premier League club does sympathize with his situation.
JORGE MENDES IS FINDING IT DIFFICULT TO FIND A NEW TEAM FOR HIS CLIENT
When Manchester United finished in Europa League positions last season, Cristiano Ronaldo immediately told Jorge Mendes to find a new club. The condition was the club should be competing in the Champions League. The other reason for him leaving is the club’s inability to support manager Erik Ten Hag in the transfer market. However, it has not been easy for agent Mendes to find a new club.
The attempts Mendes are looking at are a blatant attempt by him to find a new club for his client. Cristiano Ronaldo also thought it would be easy to find a new club. However, at 37, he is learning that moving to a new club isn’t straightforward. The reason is Mendes is asking the clubs to make a mammoth investment in a player who is approaching the end of his career.
The recent results of Manchester United clearly indicate as to why Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave the club. However, very few clubs have the potential finances to sign the legendary forward. Chelsea were deemed one such team. However, the Blues have also rejected the chance to sign the forward.
