Three Chelsea players miss training ahead of European fixture

After two big victories of 3-0 against Wolverhampton Wanderers and AC Milan. Chelsea might be looking to be back on track with another European fixture against AC Milan.

The Blues will take on Italian champions in San Siro. Ahead of their fixture three of the Chelsea players were missing in the training.

Chelsea’s goalkeepers were the first to join the training. Edouard Mendy, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Marcus Bettinelli all of them were there.

One of Chelsea’s star Thiago Silva joined them, as he was rested against Wolves after suffering from a cold.

Which players were missing

Chelsea’s defender Wesley Fofana couldn’t join the group for training as he was injured last week. The Frenchman will be out for a few weeks before he could join the squad again. He was forced off the pitch against Milan at Stamford after suffering a knee strain.

N’Golo Kante another Frenchman was missing in the training. He has been suffering from a muscular injury and manager Graham Potter wouldn’t want to risk him.

The one other absentee was Moroccon forward Hakim Ziyech. He replaced Kai Havertz against Wolves for a five minutes cameo.
