Sachin reminiscing meeting Kohli:

In a recent interview, the former cricketer shared the incident when he first met the Indian skipper Kohli. He recollected giving Kohli certain advice on their first meeting and after a while, everyone began laughing, realizing it was a prank. Here is what the 47-year-old had to say-

“I didn’t know what was happening. I asked him ‘what are you doing?’. Told him that there was no need for this and such things don’t happen. Then he got up and we looked at those guys, they started laughing.”

Once in a candid conversation, the skipper revealed how his then teammates Yuvraj Singh, Munaf Patel, and Irfan Pathan tricked him into believing that new recruits from the Indian national camp had to seek Sachin Tendulkar’s blessings by touching his feet. Here is what King Kohli had to say about the prank his seniors played on him-

“After getting selected, the initial two days the only thing I could think about is meeting Sachin in the dressing room in any way possible. And these people got wind of it because I had told that to someone.”

Soon the Indian Skipper Kohli will lead the side into the maiden World Test Championship Final.
