But the thing is, Araujo is still under the contract of Benfica until 2028. Now that he’s one of Europe’s talented defenders right now.
This Portuguese was rated €15 million by TransferMarkt, we’d expect him to rise more than 3 times that. The young lad has been drawing interest from the likes of the Blues.
Araujo’s versatility can make him a lethal player in the back position for the Blues. He is even called up by the Portugal squad for the Nations League. They will face Poland and Croatia.
Tomas Araujo, till now from reports can be said that his value is increasing. So, the deal won’t be easy to pull off. Chelsea has to give him such an offer that he can’t refuse. They might have to fix the fee rate for what they paid for Enzo Fernandez.
