The England U-21 contributed significantly to Leeds United, helping the club to finish in the 3rd place. However, he missed out on the promotion to the English top flight from the championship after losing the playoff final to Southhampton by 1-0. In April this year, Archie Gray was awarded the EFL Championship Young Player of the Season because of his brilliant performance for Leeds.
