Pundit Jamie O’Hara comments that Tottenham could get relegated, if Harry Kane leaves the club in the summer transfer window.
At the start of the season, Tottenham looked quite promising but later the campaign turned into a horror. Spurs have slipped to 8th position in the Premier League Table.
Just couple of weeks after their ext from the Champions League, Antonio Conte left the club with mutual consent. His temporary replacement Cristian Stellini was also fired in a short period of time.
But now former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O’Hara thinks that thing can get worse, if Harry Kane leaves Spurs in the summer. He said:-
“Well look, obviously we all hope that he sticks around and signs a new contract.
“Because Laura [speaking to Laura Woods], without Harry Kane, I seriously think we could be fighting relegation next season.
“We are that bad without him. We have been solely dependent on Harry Kane to score us goals and do stuff for us.
“And I think the lack of ambition that we’ve shown and the players that we’ve signed that haven’t been good enough, if he leaves, we are in big, big trouble.
“And I feel like he’s got to leave, why would he stay? The guy wants to win something, the guy deserves to win trophies. I just don’t see that changing next season.”
O’Hara made it clear that he doesn’t want Kane to leave Tottenham but he also suggested the English International will look less ambitious, if stays at Spurs. He continued:-
“If he doesn’t leave, he lacks ambition doesn’t he? Let’s be honest.
“If he doesn’t leave and a club does come in for him and Spurs go, ‘you know what, we will probably look at having to sell you.”
