The Game-Week 14 of the Premier League kicked off on Wednesday, 1 December. The GW will continue throughout the midweek, with Tottenham Hotspur taking on Brentford on Friday, 3rd December at 1:00 AM IST. The fixture will take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and hence will be an away game for the Bees.
Tottenham are currently sitting 7th in the PL and are coming off a close 2-1 win against Leeds. However, manager Antonio Conte is struggling to find consistency and efficiency since taking over as manager. With a good Brentford side, Spurs will need to put in a lot of effort to secure a win.

On the other hand, Brentford are sitting 11th in the PL and are coming off a win over Everton. Coming from the Championship for the first time, Thomas Frank’s side have gelled into the league well. They have caused significant troubles to the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea. Hence, they are expected to deliver a good fight and have a very high probability of bagging the victory.

Tottenham vs Brentford: Spurs’ team news and injury updates:
Spurs will be without defender Christian Romero with Conte fearing that the Argentine’s hamstring injury is “serious”. Giovani Lo Celso is also doubtful. Davinson Sanchez was in the starting XI for the Burnley encounter before the match got Postponed. Hence, it could be expected that he will start in the game on Friday.
Dane Scarlett is struggling with an ankle problem but was never going to replace Harry Kane, so it would be no trouble.
Tottenham Predicted Lineup:
Lloris; Sanchez, Dier, Davies; Emerson, Skipp, Hojbjerg, Reguilon; Lucas, Kane, Son
Tottenham vs Brentford: The Bees’ team news and injury updates:
The Bees continue to miss their GK David Raya and will be without some other players including Kristoffer Ajer and Josh Dasilva. Rico Henry and Sergi Canos were both forced off against Everton, but Frank is confident that both players will be fine for Friday. Christian Norgaard remians doubtful but Mathias Jorgensen is much more of a doubt.
If Canos and Henry are not fit enough, then both Yoane Wissa and Mads Roerslev could feature in the game.
Brentford Predicted Lineup:
Fernandez; Goode, Pinnock, Jansson; Canos, Norgaard, Onyeka, Janelt, Henry; Toney, Mbeumo
Our score predictions: Tottenham 2-1 Brentford
The game is expected to be a 50-50 contest, with Spurs coming from a rest over the weekend. However, their experience and individual brilliance will edge out the injury hit Bees, who could still manage to net one with their strong attacking cavalry.
