Hugo Lloris

Lloris played well. Almost saved Schar’s free-kick by getting a hand to it but couldn’t keep it out. He didn’t have much to do the rest of the game.

Romero made some good tackles and clearances. Made a crucial one against denying Willock one at point-blank. He dodged a yellow card over a challenge but besides that, he was quick on his feet.

Dier had a consecutive solid game and has been putting up good performances in the last couple of matches. He spearheaded the back 3, Organizing them as the game went on.

Ben Davies leveled the score after Schar’s Opener with a sublime header. Overall made a very good defensive display.

Was a bit wobbly at the start making a couple of loose passes and losing possession but over the course of the game worked hard and deserved the goal. He tapped in a Doherty cross over the line.

He made a good header in the first half which unfortunately wasn’t fruitful however, played a very decent game.

He picked up an unnecessary yellow card in the first half due to a scuffle. But as the game went on, He was calm and composed and played for 75 minutes until he was taken off.

Matt Doherty

He was slow in the attack in the first half however he lighted up in the second half. Scored with a diving header from a Harry Kane cross and assisted one more for Emerson Royal.

Dejan Kulusevski

He was busy down the right flank and made a lot of good runs. Assisted Son and increases his tally of assists to 5 since he joined the Premier League in January. Created 4 chances in the game same as every Newcastle player combined in the game.

Obtained a yellow card in the first half for a tactical foul after losing the ball. He grabbed an assist with a cross to Doherty. Set up Son’s goal by placing a through ball to Kulusevski.

Son Heung-min

Made a cross to Davies and added to his tally. Scored a goal to add to his assist from Kulusevski. He could have had another from a ball from Harry Kane. Overall continued his impressive form and is adding to his goal and assists.

Moura came off the bench and made some good runs and played a part in Bergwijn’s goal.

Brought in at the 75-minute mark, He was required to keep the engine running.

Continued his impressive form. Scored a goal by claiming the ball after Moura was tackled during a dribble and buried it past the keeper.
